MY SPICY CUP, THE STORY

There are no coincidences, but there are serendipitous encounters. Such an encounter was ours. Shared passions, spices and coffee inspired us to combine these two worlds in one cup. The café had been struggling with flavouring for years, and the second generation of the spice company was about to dream big. The meeting was so successful that it provided the answer to an existing market need. That need is to further enhance the coffee drinking experience, in a healthy way, free of additives and of the highest quality.

We experimented for nights to find the right flavour combinations, the right proportions, in order to offer something really special. There were many criteria to meet and it took exactly nine months, like the birth of a child.

Our innovation offers a spice and life experience. Each of the bold and innovative flavours has a character of its own. We’re building a collection where each item in the range uniquely spices up coffee and milk with a touch of life to spice up your everyday life, your mood, depending on what you’re craving.

We’ve done it all as if we were making it for ourselves.

UNIQUENESS

Many of us experience coffee drinking as a little break we can have just for ourselves, that goes far beyond the intake of the right amount and quality of caffeine. Our focus is on the experience, as the My Spicy Cup coffee spice collection uniquely spices up our cups with 100% real aromas and flavours, making our lives more fulfilling.

Each blend has been consciously formulated to make a significant physiological contribution to a healthy immune system. Each product is a vegan, refined sugar-free, additive-free spice blend, where the emphasis was on flavouring to bring out the characteristics of the spices while still allowing the coffee flavour to prevail.

The range currently consists of 7 flavours and all are perfect for any health conscious business concept. The range of spices, the result of a long work, is perfectly suited to professional coffee shops, but is also suitable for home use, meaning that the coffee shop experience can be reproduced at home. We want the innovative spice compositions, which play with exciting flavours, not only to conquer customers in the place where they were born, the Csillaghegyi Megálló café, but also to show the Hungarian and foreign gastronomy-loving society what makes them more and different.

During the creative process, a new market concept was born – “SPICE LATTE”, which means that you can enjoy the aroma and physiological effects of special spices in a hot, steamed milk drink without coffee.

FUTURE

We are inspired by unique solutions, healthy ingredients and unique flavour combinations. Through our signature spice blends, we want to show the many ways spices have a place in our lives, that a little can be a lot and that uniqueness can be achievable. In the medium term, we plan to develop further product categories, offering a high-level gastronomic experience to an open-minded audience locally and abroad. We have lots of ideas.

Our trademark is our commitment to creation, innovation, quality “clean” ingredients and our passion for spices.

SUSTAINABILITY

The brand’s founding café, the Csillaghegyi Megallo Café, which is a Responsible Gourmet and Sustainable Café, is a Dining Guide Audience Award-winning destination.

When designing the packaging of the spices, the founder-producer Fűszerbár spice manufactory took particular care to the respect of the environment, and the products are available in reusable metal boxes and paper bags.

Our products are made with domestic labour in a domestic factory.
